	Long Distance Walkers Association The LDWA is an Association of people with the common interest of walking long distances in rural, mountainous or moorland areas.
	Backpackers Club The Backpackers Club is for anybody who enjoys lightweight camping. The aim of the club is to promote and encourage backpacking for the benefit of its members.
	CRoW Open Access Portal - Natural England Use this portal to check for details of temporary closures and restrictions of Open Access land. Search by OS grid reference, place name/postcode or National Park between a range of dates and it gives a detailed map showing the affected area and the nature of the closure or restriction.

Database of British & Irish Hills	Hills Database Includes downloadable data files for the British hills, a discussion of peak measurement errors and other numerical topics.
	Simon Edwardes - Hill-Bagging Definitive site for hill lists and logging based on the Hills Database
	Phil Newby - HaroldStreet Mountain Lists, GPS Waypoints & Hill Walking Routes
Alun Fisher	Significant summits of the British Isles A very interesting study of hills based on Prominence and how they define the natural topographical divisions. Includes lists of the most prominent hills in Britain.
